I just wanted to let you all know of a great book that my partner and I found. It's called "Getting Through the Day" by Nancy J. Napier. It talks a great deal about dissociation and multiple personalities and how to allow an "adult observer" side of ourselves to take over and help when we get caught in triggers or other childhood hurts.

Although it doesn't talk about sexual abuse exclusively, it is for anyone who has had an abusive past. I really relate to it and find it helpful. Just thought you'd all like to know.
