Human Trafficking in Healthcare: Are we Missing Patients?

Background: Thousands of people are trafficked within US borders every year, and some are likely to seek healthcare during their time in the life. But healthcare providers are not trained to identify people who are being trafficked, so we may be missing many opportunities to offer a chance at freedom. This survey will identify the healthcare needs and experiences of people with healthcare providers while they are were the life.

Who: Seeking survivors of human trafficking, also known as "modern day slavery," of any age, to complete a survey about their health needs while in the life and any experiences they had with healthcare providers. Participants are not asked for any identifying factors and the survey is completely anonymous. Participants who complete the survey receive a $10 gift card to Target.
