The following is being released by SNAP:

We are pleased to announce that the incredibly moving documentary:

Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God will be premiering on HBO, Monday, February 4.

If you didn't get the chance to see the film in theaters, now's your chance! It will be playing all month long and of course with HBO you can watch it anytime on demand.

Mea Maxima Culpa features SNAP members and other survivors of clergy sexual abuse. The film follows the secret crimes of Milwaukee priest Fr. Murphy, who abused more than 200 deaf children. The heart of the film is about the courageous survivors of Fr. Murphy, who set out to expose the priest and protect other children. The film also shows the secret Vatican archive that shows the Pope as responsible for these horrendous crimes against children.

SNAP is the organization: Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

SNAP invited me to give my testimony, pufferfish story part 5 before a committee in the Nations Capital several years ago. It was not a national committee but for the city of Washington D.C. SNAP was very kind to me and I was very favorably impressed with their organization. They not only cover abuse by priests, but in other areas of life. They don't compete with MS because their influence is in a different realm.
