I think I found the answer on my lack of emotions I was looking for. I found it on PTSD Forum. It is a feature in PTSD that comes after reacting to triggers. You just find you don't react to much of anything. I guess I've been doing this for a very long time. It can also be manifest in Borderline Personality Disorder (if that means anything to anyone) I read.

Emotional Detachment

The first is the bad one.

In the first meaning, it refers to an inability to connect with others on an emotional level, as well as a means of coping with anxiety by avoiding certain situations that trigger it; it is often described as "emotional numbing" or dissociation.

The 2nd is normal.
In the second sense, it is a type of mental assertiveness that allows people to maintain their boundaries and psychic integrity when faced with the emotional demands of another person or group of persons.

The fix for it? Fuck if I know.
