Hey guys, I've got an idea for a thread we could do here that's a little more interactive. The basic idea is that you post a mantra or an affirmation for yourself. Then you can read what others have suggested and maybe adapt it for yourself.

A mantra is usually a single word or phrase you say on repeat (this is a thing borrowed from Hinduism).
Mantras I've used recently:

  • Strength and acceptance
  • Serenity
  • Inhale, exhale

Affirmations are slightly longer phrases, but are a way of patting yourself on the back. They could point out a good character, physical or emotional trait you have
Mine I've used

  • I've been smiling more
  • My coworkers love working with me
  • 4 people complimented me today

So I know I've given lists already of some stuff, but if other guys got more they want to add to the list, we'll keep going. I'll try and give feedback when I can if I see some saying that I like or might want to use.

~~~Strength in stubbornness, Healing in hardiness
I love affirmations, when I came to MS, there was one article with affirmations for survivors, it changed my perspective completely.
I like your mantras as well, especially the first one: strength and acceptance.
Here is my affirmation for today:
- I'm peaceful and confident
My story
I deserve a safe environment.
Trust me, you are worth it to love yourself!
