Isa 57:5

You burn with lust among the oaks
and under every spreading tree;
you sacrifice your children in the ravines
and under the overhanging crags.

Is there a question about this verse? I can say it is not saying "this is what Christians should do".
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. - Plato

i believe it is.
for some abusers, this is conscious and in extreme cases it is intentional.
but i also believe that many abusers are not aware of the spiritual implications of sexual abuse.

Isaiah was condemning such behaviour.
we survivors know why CSA is wrong.
soul damaged.
innocence sacrificed.
