My wife has joined this forum to share our experiences with others. Healing is made a lot easier with the support of family. She has been by my side all the way. Married 28 years this year.

I consider myself a thriver, what is my wife then?

I think its awesome that you have encouraged you wife to join. I know that this place has been a lifeline for me and I wish that H would join but he isn't ready. I agree with candu a loyal supportive partner is priceless. I'm happy for you both.

I am a wife & a survivor too; we understand each other about 98% of the time. I read everything about a MS because it is different for men, worst than I thought. We do T seperately & together, some pvt time needed there. Not sure what to call your wife other than a Angel but I can call you VERY LUCKY !
Keep talking & talking & talking w/each other.
Still trying hope?

I am happy for both of you--working together to heal. I am glad you both are committed to make the marriage work. CSA wreaks havoc on one's life and those around them. Your wife has taken a courageous step and realizes who you truly are and not the one CSA made you to be. Good luck

Congrats to you both!!!

Wonderful. I would have stood by my husband through thick and thin, but he wouldn't allow it.

I'm so glad you have the support you want and are able to accept it.

I can say this. My wife has read several articles and books and has even gone to therapy with me. She has been such a blessing to me. I start tearing up as I type this just thinking about all she has done. Someone made the best one word statement.

Ephesians 6:13

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Ephesians 5:25

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
