Today and other days as well but, especially today, I learned a very valuable lesson.

I once posted a lot here. I did so as I had no other outlet where I felt "safe" to tell others how much I was hurting. Well, I found other avenues to share locally and the sharing was not in away that some might think. And NO The sharing was NOT sexual. I say this because some might think so, as I have in the past.

What I found was the awesome power in the gospel of Christ. Some religions are NOT so bad. Many are. I understand others here were molested by clergy and I believe you when you tell your story. There is a great amount of "legalism" in the church.

What I discovered today that I wanted to come here and post about is: Other men here might not be able to really "hear" your story. And those men might be in a position of trust. Even though they are in a position of trust, YOU ARE VALUABLE. I found myself in a pickle here some time ago and believed I was too blame but, I learned today outside of being on here that I someone elses lack of boundaries and unkindness was to blame.

WE all are hurting boys.

Be well,
Avery
