Avoiding hysteria!!!! Avoiding the truth. Allowing others to be victims and not looking at the reality of things. that's BS. How can unsuspecting parents protect their children if they really don't know what kind of monsters they are protecting their children from? light and love, cathy

I can confirm that the only reporting restrictions on this matter relate to the identity of the intended victims and the family name. Anything else can and indeed was reported. All 3 defendants were convicted of conspiracy to rape at Southwark Crown Court yesterday. They will be sentenced at the same court on Friday 12th January 2007. Hope this helps put your minds at rest.

Thanks for the heads up.
I knew the jury were out yesterday, but did not know the sentencing date, I will note it.

Hopefully the sentence will reflect their intended crime,

Whoever stole the Sun, put it back and we'll drop all the charges!

they were sentenced.
and the convictions have been overturned.

"Three men accused of using an internet chatroom to hatch a plot to rape two young sisters have had their convictions overturned.

David Dyer, 43, of Hampshire, Alan Hedgecock, 42, of Twickenham, and Robert Mayers, 43, of Warrington, had been given indeterminate jail terms.

The Court of Appeal decided the mens online exchanges were as indicative of fantasy as actual intent to rape.

The three remain in prison on charges of downloading child pornography.

They were originally given indeterminate terms with Dyer, also known as David Beavan, of Shackleton Square, Bransgore, Hampshire, ordered to serve at least 11 years.

Hedgecock, of River Way, Twickenham, south-west London and Mayers, of Brighton Street, Warrington, were given eight-year tariffs
