Tommorow is another day

Drifting between the madness of sleep and dream

i know waking will bring me nothing but pain

I hide from the sun and the nightmare it brings

another day gone before its lived

yet i wake into this nightmare

Because tommorow is another day

yesterday and today blur into one

a prisoner of my own mind

hiding behind faces and smiles

trapped behind failure and doubt

a muted scream follows me wherever i go

still i wait

for tomorrow is another day

wandering among tattered dreams

taking comfort in childish habit

tending to the growth of what will take root

in the barren soil of my spirit

tommorow is a another day

tommorow is a new day

with new promise

and carries with it the dream of a better life, a better world, and a hopeful future

Hi Broken,

Thanks for sharing your poem.
I've had those day's when I didnt want to wake up.
I'd think, "Wake up for what? Whats so great in my life that I'll miss?"

But i realized that I could waste away my life, hiding under the sheets. And that would mean that he won, and I lost.
And I wont let that happen.

Plus theres a lot of beautiful things out there that God (and man) have created. I want to see them all, I want to experience them, I want to live them.

So I got out of bed. Tomorrow is indeeed a new day.

God Bless,
rax.
