Last year Judge Walford deferred sentence on a crook, with 158 convictions, facing jail for car crime so he could watch Hartlepool FC against Cardiff in the playoffs.
Can't say I am surprised, but is there no recourse in Britain against such insanity, apart from continued appeals in each individual case? Aren't the judges held accountable for their verdicts and sentences?

the only way of hitting bad judges, is by appealling cases they judge.
People need to be aware that they have the right of appeal.

It is like anything else, each request for appeal means loads of paper chasing, and the AG cannot be dealing with that.

It costs MONEY!
