From Todays issue of The Sun:

PERVERT pop tycoon Jonathan King will be out of prison in just six weeks — after serving less than half his sentence.

King, 60, was given a seven-year term in 2001 for molesting boys, but has been granted parole.

He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and banned from working with kids.

But King reckons he will make a fortune when he is out. He has kept in touch with many of his showbiz contacts and is said to be writing a West End musical.

He has already got £200,000 from Granada TV for the rights to the Record of the Year show.

He is set to use the money to fight to have his sentence quashed, claiming a procedural mistake.

His lawyer Giovanni Di Stefano said: “Justice has been served for now but it will only be true justice when his conviction is quashed.”

King used to pick up youngsters in his Rolls-Royce and took them to his London home, where he abused them.

Police raided his flat and found hundreds of photos of boys, including pictures of 14 and 15-year-olds King abused in the 1980s”.

What a pile of shit to wake upto.

But I am not going to let it piss me off.

Dan, I would not wipe my a**e on the sun.
As for the story you mention, king will be free to get kids again. Money, power, greed and denial all form a basis of a potential abuser.
Fighting his "innocence", what bullshit. What about all the innocence he took? Will he be free to carry on? I think so.

This is just a sample of the utter shit that king publishes on his web site from inside jail.

If you go and look at his site be careful, it just make me so fucking angry that I could smash the screen.

An Idiot's Guide to Sex Offences
Author: JK , Oct/20/2004 16:26:31

I suggest you print up this guide just in case you find yourself in need of
it; or even feel. a friend could use it.
What tends to happen these, days is that a boy or girl or man or woman) makes
a complaint to the police. That complaint can range from a legitimate accusation
of abuse (and I believe nobody should be taken advantage of. whether they are
robbed or mugged or tricked or seduced, but I can't see why sexual abuse is
any worse than any other kind) to s false claim motivated by jealousy or greed
or a need for attention or genuine delusion.
The trouble is... the police (and "victim support" team) then kick in to explain
to the "victim" how that statement must be made to give the greatest chance
for success. This is understandable in legitimate cases but, nine times out
of ten, it tends to inflate and encourage the lies or exaggeration.
With the help of the Compensation shopping list (available to anyone via the
CICAP at llth Floor, Cardinal Tower. 12 Farringdon Rd, London EC1M 3HS), the
allegations can increase the reward (more than one abuser... add £2500, .
over 3 years. . . add fl 1,000 etc) and the Police Guide to Porn Speak (I've made
that up but you wouldn't believe how often "scrubbed itself red raw in the
shower" and "I can't hold a. baby in my arms without crying" crop up), the
statements become more lurid and appalling.. Jurors flinch at. the. language used.
The police help guide accusers around the potential legal loopholes/ so
the claims carefully avoid pitfalls,, even if they are not true.
Then the media takes ever. Whether it's loce.1 press or nationals, the actual
facts,, even if true, are normally very dull copy. "I quite wanted to do it
until afterwards, when 7 regretted it" makes a far less juicy headline than.
Celebrity accusations (ranging from lies about footballers to claims against
the Royal Family) include the massive advantage of tens (sometimes hundreds)
of thousands of pounds in media interview fees.
And, to make that into ratings fodder or circulation worth, they too must be
coloured up (whether it's wearing football strips or sucking toes). After a
successful prosecution, read the rubbish
written by hacks like; Lucy Pant-on (once People, now News of the World) and
check out the cliches and truisms as the -same old crap i^ recycled.
The thing to remember about tabloid journalists is .. if they were any good,
they would be doing something better. But the ballooning of the truth (or,
sometimes, fiction) is .incredible. And many cases utilise standard HACK help
to "sex up" the prosecution line.
In the court room, my defence ("I didn't do it") was very dull compared to
the deliciously filthy prosecution allegations.
Any juror worth his or her salt would prefer the tear jerking, dramatic,- tabloid’s
