The Blood of a Rose

Innocence destroyed
Goodness sullied
Love disenbodied
As the life of a child is stolen
Evil thrives
And pureness dies
As terror rides
On the fires of hell
And the blood of a rose
Leaks from the pain

Hearts are ruined
And lives are hidden
Innocence is stolen
By the hands
THat see only evil
A thron of rust
And not of silver
Punctures true innocence
As the blood of a rose is lost

Goodness is lost
And truth is hidden
Lies surround us
And close in on us
As our innocence is relinquished
And terror survives
And the horsemen of hell
Brandish their swords
THe blood of a rose
Seeps from it's wounds

Evil thrives
And goodness hides
Yet still some innocence survives
THe hand of God
Still holds its power
Yet the works of hell
Are done by men
Demons ride
And angels hide
Until truth returns
And love is pure
And on that day
The blood of a rose
Shall be avenged

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible in not a declaration, it's a dare.

Scott, can write. It hurts, some sting, a little pain, can write.

You guys with pens at the ready,
we read, with our pain, not so steady.....but you can write.

You tell us, we read, of you, of us, and we you can write.

Your pain, our pain, his zeal, our shame....oh, how you write.

I try to forget, but you remember, all the secrets, with your words, you write.

I cry out...stop...he smiles...he works his wiles, and you record it all, with your words.

"No soul is desolate as long as there is a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence."

Haha, you guys are great. Scott: The rose, it's beautiful. Every rose has it's thorns, but always remember, if you do not water the rose, it will wilt.

My Regards,

I use this a lot, but there are no words. None, beyond what is said here.

Great work. I need to read this many times, even though it hurts. I know that in time, the innocent shall be avenged!

Your art gives me hope.

Thanks brother. Peace (lord knows you deserve it).
