To My Demon:

Prey upon me. Me alone.
Show me fear Iíve never known.
Slowly infiltrate my mind.
Plant a curse for me to find.
Linger there and poison me.
Linger there eternally.
On my sanity youíll dine,
Making all your madness mine.
Watching my resistance wane.
I shall manifest my pain.
No more do I fear my fall.
Drugged with apathy for all.

by John

In the name of the Anger, and of the Sadness, and of the Unholy Fear. Amen.

wow, talk about intense and hard hitting, well written, I liked it and kinda scared me.

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible in not a declaration, it's a dare.

I am sorry you feel this way. But the fact you can state it so clearly shows you are a strong person.

It's hard, but I need to read it again.

Goddamn the bastards who did this to us!

There are reasons I'm taking medication. They're called "other people." - Me, displaying my anti-social tendancies

Pretty much puts it in a nutshell, doesn't it. All of it rings so true, except for the final line:
Drugged with apathy for all.
One of the many things I've noticed that we all share, is the deep caring for others. The want/need to help, nurture, guide and love. The want/need to be helped, nurtured, guided and loved. He, she, they were and are our demons, but we do not share their apathy. For they had no care for what we would feel.
