Starry Starry Night

Starry, starry night
Moonís bright light
Such peaceful,
Gentle radiance.

This nightís stars sparkle,
In the safe, clear sky
No longer terrifying
As when on the ground I lay
His boy toy, waiting helpless,
Of his ghastly desires.
I am the one with might.
Tonight the woods are
Truly awesome
Silent, comforting
Tonight, the woods are mine!

I am free and alive!
All his power is gone
I am no longer alone
My future is bound to be full
Of all I treasure most.
Despair a stranger,
My life full of carefree hope
And daily joys.

I wonder what he would say,
If he would see me today
Would he envy my strength?
Would he be jealous of my success?
Would he fear my power?
Would he ask pardon for his sins?
Would be wish that he could be,
As happy, and healthy as I?

Why do I care?
Iím not sure that I do
It is just that
I wonder,
If he ever cared.

No matter!
Iíve traveled my path
Found help along the way
The past is past
And finally,
So is he.

If we do not live what we believe, then we will begin to believe what we live.
