I have not written about my SA directly for a while, so I am sharing this piece I am turning in to my Poetry class for workshopping. Oh, yeah, it is not supposed to rhyme.

Darkness clouds my vision
As I try to find my way
Through this maze
Rage and hurt bubble in
The cauldron I keep inside me
Waiting to implode
And destroy all the scars and scabs
That hold back the pus and maggots
And the waters that hold back
The flood that is waiting deep inside
To engulf the catalyst of hate
Praying to Saint Anger to abandon me
An let happiness seep through the cracks
And holes that have been eaten into my core
I want to have joy and rainbows
And little bunnies hopping through the meadows
But that was taken from me by force
Why was I a target of malevolence
What did I do to earn the damage
That was doled out by a demon
I hid inside my head
Divided my psyche into parts
Tried to be what everyone else wanted
Ignoring who I really am
I was a husk of a human
Hiding inside the mess I let myself become

"You live it or lie it" Metallica

Nice. I'd like to see the rest of it when it if finished. Looks like you could put it to music ... maybe turn it into a song down the road.

WEll, a, "husk of a human," no more.

You've got some great phrases here.

"No soul is desolate as long as there is a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence."
