Injured men
All hurt in different ways
All trapped inside
By pain
By anguish
By things too horrible to speak

And none can see how beautiful they are.

Little boys
So innocent
So loving and so trusting
Taken in by evil men
And made to feel so bad about themselves
So dirty, so ashamed.

Too shamed to see how beautiful they are.

Older boys
Some victims of such brutal crimes
All questioning now who they are
They things they did
Were forced to do
Could they have been at fault?

Too anguished now to see how beautiful they are.

Old men with their memories
New memories
And questions about what and when
And if they're true
And who they are

No time in waning years to stop to see how beautiful they are.

And yet, I see in each of them
A tender soul
That reaches out to touch another man in pain
To say he cares
To listen now
And answer when he can
A wounded man, who though in anguish of his own
Finds time and strength to quell the same found in a friend.

All too busy caring now to see how beautiful they are.

Look all around you.
You see them just as I do.
You see these men, these boys.
You see them care...hear them weep.
You see their strength
You feel their souls
You watch them struggle now to stand
Now to walk along the troubled path ahead.

You're one of them...just like them...just as strong...just as caring.

So stop one moment, please, just one before you travel on...before you cannot stop again...and take the time to see, to really you see beautiful you are.

I'm healing now, and I wasn't sure I would.

Very nice Bobby. If you could compose music and tweak some stanza's this would make one hell of a theme song. I really thought you reached us all. Well done. I still think it could be worked into a song.

Thanks, Bobby. That's the kind of thing that feels like you're talking right to me. And you're absolutely right. Everyone here is so good inside, but our vision is clouded by the SA.

Look at yourself, too, Bobby. See how beautiful you are.

Bobby, God has a place for you in the eternal garden of peace, and tranquility, a place beyond hurt, and full of love, like it was meant to be,
