i spent my life afraid to feel
and share with those I love
my inner child would not come out
those sins known only by above

I do not love the man I am
Still, the frighten boy inside
the images of way before
have made my life a lie

then something horrid came to bear
that turned my world inside out
A truth told by the one I love
filled me even more with doubt

Did i deserve the curves life threw
since it is easy to hit those who are down
perhaps the very things I feared
i deserved to keep me bound

i try to do the things that are right
i tried to go where karma led
but how can karma work out right
is there something good ahead?

why do bad things happen to the good
a question for the ages
all i know about the book of life
is when do i finally get new pages

bc, sometimes I don't know what to say, but just read and ponder what has been said. I know that, when I write, often I write because I need to say what's inside, but also because I need someone to hear it. I don't need them to understand exactly, but there is a part of me inside that desperately wants someone to know how bad it hurts, and why. I read the things you write and take them in. I'm not wise, and so don't give much advice, but I want you to know that I care about the things you're saying and the pain you're going through. Bobby

I'm healing now, and I wasn't sure I would.

It is indeed a question for the ages, and one we don't really get answers for, I think. But new pages? Yes, I think so. Aren't you writing in yours right now?

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.
