The pastor of my church gave me a workbook called "Shelter from the Storm - Hope for Survivors of Sexual Abuse". It's put out by Lifeway and I'd highly recommend it to those looking for some spiritual recovery as well. If you're interested in getting it, let me know and I'll get you some further details on finding it.

Anyway, here's a verse quoted in it that really speaks to how I've felt about having to deal with all this:

"I said "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest - I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm." - Psalm 55:6-8, NASB"

Familiar feeling to anyone else?
