Les, I agree. Right now the resemblance for me is very vague; it's more a dream & a matter of faith. But then I think that's what it takes.
What impressed me about this poem, wherever it came from, is in how vividly Christ is portrayed as a survivor, which I'd never much thot of before, tho I can't imagine why. For me this is a great source of encouragement & hope. He rose from death. Surely I can rise up into new life out of this living death of abuse...
