I am in a relationship with someone whom I have found out was abused beyond what I can comprehend in his last relationship. After a considerable amount of time, he now knows that I will never hurt him or walk away from him because of what was done to him and has begun to open up to me and tell me what happened. Other than listening and showing him I love him, what can I do to help him through this? What can I do to help us through this?

support him by trying to understand him.
hold him.
hug him.
remind him that you love him.
Let him not be scared.
make him laugh.
make the best out of the time that you have.
