Well, its happened.

I've come out to a lot of people, including my mom. She handled it very well; she is very supportive. I also told her about the abuse; she is the only one in the family who knows.

My wife has been very understanding too. She has told me that I have done the best with what I had at the time. We are separating.

Now I face being the 32 year old "virgin." I'm a little nervous about it all. But I also know it feels so good to be honest, even with myself. I'm even getting more comfortable saying, "I am gay."

Its taken me long enough... but I did it. I guess I'm out... or at least I've opened the door. And I feel so much better!

and I didn't really fully come out to myself and to the rest of the world until I was 41!!!
God, it feels so good to be honest; a two ton weight lifted off your shoulders.
Best wishes. Love, etc.

as a teacher I am not that out only to those who are close, my family doesn't talk to me anyway except my mom, she knows I live w a friend, she wouldnt be able to handle it, my lovely ex wife told her i was gay i said no mom, it is better this way. She is ill and has a lot of problems.

Standing together is so much better than hiding in the dark.
