I just had to tell you that you gave me a big smile and a giggle by making the "Quote of the Week" !!
and no cursing ! AHAHAHAHAAHA! You know I'll make up for it eventually...
wanna know something, I've really been working on trying NOT to cuss, I know its lazy language, its used to intimidate and offend others -- I figured that much out in my raisin of a brain, putting the practice forward has been a bit of a challenge -- I sure have found myself apologizing for the language more than ever -- but I know I am BETTER than that lazy speech, -- it also is a way I think to help me subconciously anyway to avoid the "rage" I often feel ---
But as I told my therapis this past week, I have gotten so sick and tired of asking nicely and professionally so many times, it so often seems that I end up at the end of the docs hallway screaming obscenties and empty threats just to get attention???? for VERY real problems -- I know it reality it shoves me back into that old bad behavior that I did in trying to gett some attention from anyone to "get help" when the abuse was occuring --
And I just now realized, I am feeling abused all over again by hubby who is refusing to aid, help, respond etc to me...
Ok -- so that was an epiphamy (sp), how then do I get his attention in a positive manner with REAL dialogue going on? I would just "let go" but my health situation keeps us tied --- the Psychiatrist I saw the other day even agreed with me, that when the divorce happens it must be a complete clean break -- that there should be no reasonn for further contact....
Give me some Ideas on how to come up with a hundred bucks "legally"? My folks are out of the question .....
So far just not having contact with him allows him to not HAVE to address a HUGE problem in the marriage... I contacted legal aid, but their funds are cut so deep that they only handle domestic violence situations (i am in complete agreeance with their priorities) --
ANY Ideas would be appreciated ---
So thanks for the Smile, and I really think I have been very blessed with a very realistic Psychiatrist -- how refreshing is that!! \:D
Peace and Happy New years to all -- may your up coming year be filled with less stress, much growth and "real" happiness and "blessings"

If both are willing to the divorce some states will wave the filing fee. I know last year when I filed for mine it cost me $10.00 for the packet and in it there was a form to have everything else waved. So thats all it cost. There are some things you have to fall under. Check with your court house and ask about divorce packets.

As you may know, I'm an ESL (English as a Second Language) and ABE (Adult Basic Education) instructor. If there's anyone who should avoid cursing like the plague, it's me. I have a great love of languages in general, and the English language in particular.

And what does a friend of mine say to me after a particularly angry rant? "You cuss a lot. I've never heard anyone use the word 'f**k' quite like you do!"

Ain't nothing wrong with the salty language if it helps keep you sane! By the way, in my experience, there are two groups of vocabulary that are the fastest learned in any studied language. Particularly for those who have just relocated to a country that doesn't use a person's native language - money-economic vocabulary and cursing. Why? Because they're the most-used!

Ah, human nature does give us exactly what we need, doesn't it? :p

Peace and love, my sister,

There are reasons I'm taking medication. They're called "other people." - Me, displaying my anti-social tendancies
