I guess several of you know me, Marty, a 52 year old survivor of clergy abuse. I am doing well now that I have been sober for almost two years and working my program. I get a lot of help and support, both personal and professional. I came across a very interesting web site that is generating a petition to demand that the Federal Government invoke the RICO statutes to investigate the Catholic Church and its handling of the clergy sex abuse crisis. The woman behind this, Pauline, is an ex-nun and psychotherapist who has treated MANY of the victims. She is appalled at what she hears and she knows more than she can believe. If you are equally outraged, please to to the web site and consider signing the petition and TELL YOUR FRIENDS. Here is the link:

If it is not blue just copy the whole thing and paste in into your browser address area.

I survive, one day at a time...knowing that I now can accept the things that cannot be changed, change the things I can and find the wisdom to know the difference.

thank you for posting this. I have glanced at the site, and will read it more fully when I have more time to. Just a thought, you may wish to post this also in the 'world news' or other section, where the friends and family lady posters can also respond.
