Hi MS Members,

My name is Joe, I am in my late 40's, a resident of the East coast, and a survivor of sexual abuse by relatives. While I consider myself fortunate to have the strong support of friends and non-abusive family members, I find it can be easier to relate to fellow survivors.

I hope to share my story at some point but admit I feel exhausted at times telling it.

Anyway, I am grateful to find this site and hope to continue my journey.

Wishing all of you peace, love, and light.

Welcome and sorry you have to be here. We all move at our own pace in disclosing, healing and sharing. Take you time, share as you begin to feel safe. It is a welcoming place, no judgment and as you said, speaking with survivors offer a comfort others cannot because we understand the pain and hurt.

Take care of yourself and wishing you the best on your journey to heal.
