Can you clarify something? Are the pains a direct effect of the abuse and your sister wants you to be checked out for evidence of SA, or are the pains that you're talking about pains from an emotional nature? I mean, pains like headaches, stomach aches, etc... all reactions to stress.
If you don't feel comfortable being specific in the public forum, you can PM me.

Getting a check up is scary and embarrassing, especially the touching part but if you bring a grownup you trust and maybe a stuffed toy you'll feel lots better! They'll explain everything and it'll take maybe 30 minutes. It's okay to ask lots of questions if you're nervous. It doesn't hurt (it stung a little bit) and they'll give you stuff to relax if you need it. They'll probably look inside, ask for a blood and urine sample and check for STDs and stuff. If you got hurt when you were 5 and you haven't been checked out yet then you probably need a check up. People told me my health is real important so I'm gonna tell you the same. You'll be okay man.

i had to do that like 3 days after my uncle was takin away. cuz i got an infection from a rip he gave me, and for other things. to make sure i was not more seriously injured. i was nervous as hell, but i survived. it wasnt really all that bad. i can understand why your nervous though. just stay strong, and you will be ok.

I see you're posting a lot and I forgot to say that the doctor you'll meet in the hospital can probably help you find a counsellor or therapist 'cause if they find any injuries they have to report it. They can help you get safe if you're scared it'll happen again. There's child help lines too. Having a counsellor helps but people can't make you talk if you're not ready.

I don't know what the regulations are where you live, but here in the UK anyone who needs any examination that requires clothing to be removed, and any touching by the doctor, has to be offered the chance to have another person there. My doctor will ask the practice nurse to be in attendance if someone wants the safety of a witness.

The main thing to do however is let the doctor know that you're a CSA Survivor and that personal examinations might freak you.
Last month I had problems with kidney stones and had to go to hospital to have a camera up my penis to inspect the inside of my bladder, and being of a certain age they also checked my prostate by the tried and trusted method of the doctor sticking a finger up my arse!
As you can imagine I wasn't looking forward to this fun packed day, that was also spiced up with an ultrasound scan.

I told the doctor about my CSA as soon as I got there, and explained that I might get very tense and nervous during the tests, he understood and allocated a nurse to stop with me all day to explain everything and reassure me, which she did and I felt so much better for.

If the doctors don't know then they can't do anything extra to make it easier for you.
It is hard to tell them, I still end up stammering and sounding like an idiot when I tell them, but I'm so glad that I did afterwards.

Glad thing went well for U today. \:\) \:\) \:\)

================================================

Edited it so I can add to my feelings.

I went to a meeting today and as I was driving home, I was thinking about what had to endure and I got real angry inside. (didn't do anything crazy while driving though). I am angry because U are needing repair inside of U because of what someone did to U.

It is unfair and it isn't right and I feel for U. Just thought U should know.

Take Care.
