those voices are not real.
they are echoes of the past.
if you listen closely, you will find that they sound just like your abusers:
same words, same phrases, same tone, same emphasis.
if it does sound like your own voice,
it is only because you were trained
to accept their lies without question
and you are parroting what you heard so many times.
oppose them, replace them, drown them out with your own truth.
tell yourself the opposite of their lies.
and believe your own truth.
it was not your fault.
you did not deserve it.
you are valuable in yourself.
you are acceptable.
you are good enough.
you are worthy of being loved and protected.
