Lately I've had a more positive outlook on life, I don't know where it came from, I guess progress is part of recovery, and whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, you're continuously recovering. The poem is a......well, it'd be no fun if I explained it.

Lay light brushes upon your soul, as bristles kiss on canvas,
Build with patience, a portrait that cannot taper,
Now, not later
Uncover the myth of flawless papers

Those gentle strokes, make gentle folk.
Keep a watchful eye for beauty in all their actions,
And in all the words they spoke;
Dull roads,
Colored through joyous interaction

The vicissitudes of life, nothing but casual riddles
Fear is death, unveil and wiggle through the middle
When you choke,
Heed the counsel of the old
Experience the wisdom and courage
Lived by refined souls

Live it outwards,
For a mind well trained
Comes with a heart
Fit to aid,
For they are one in the same
The hand and the blade.

Walk this way and all happiness is to gain,
An eternity devoid of pain.

Learn to dance through the days.
Quiet the noises
And leave your ears free to hear
What is going on,
Right Here.

Do not cower in fear
For when the morning rays mate with the leaves
Through your eyes it will be clear,
That there was actually nothing to fear.

"Lay light brushes upon your soul, as bristles kiss on canvas"

"Instead of having the rug pulled from under your feet, learn to dance on a shifting carpet."
