This is cheating a bit, because it's actually my dad's car. But he lets me drive it. I haven't passed my test yet. When I drive he's usually hanging on to the dashboard screaming that I'm too close to the edge of the road. I'm not! It's just his perception is all off because he's in the passenger seat for a change.
Hi TXB. It's not cheating. It's the closest thing to being your car that you have so, in a way, it's your car. Having over 333K miles on it at least means it's reliable. I'll have my fingers crossed for you that it stays that way.
Oh yeah, and don't feel bad that your dad acts that way when you're driving. I've been driving for over 20 years and my mom still does shit like that when I'm behind the wheel. Do you ever notice your dad trying to step on the imaginary brake when he's riding with you? LOL!
