good sleep is important- it is part of taking care of ourselves.
It is a message to our bodies that we are in control, we can and will provide for ourselves, and we will make the right decisions.
Over the years, I've struggled with late night channel surfing and tried different meds for sleep: the best thing I've found is to avoid stimulation before I go to bed, have a restful place to sleep, and to get exercise during the day.
I know now that sleep I get in the hours before midnight are a huge boost, so I try to get to bed early if I can.
