I realize I have a whole lot of issues with trust, and probably too much doubt when it involves people's motives, but I must admit I don't completely buy into the Cory Feldman expose.
If this horrific blockbuster news had not come to light at a time other than when his book went on sale it would be more believable to me. This stuff, as tragic and personal as it can get, nevertheless sells books. If he had revealed it perhaps in an interview of some type over the last 20 years or so, mentioned it to a friend or relative in the last 20 years (I know, why didn't I tell anyone all these years?) Why wasn't it at least hinted at during the inquest for Corey Haim's tragic death?
There's always been the rumor of the Hollywood "casting couch" so I'm sure there are sordid details enough to go around. The thing that struck me as so awkward is the statement that the relationship with Michael Jackson was the healthiest one he had in Hollywood. Corey Haim and Michael Jackson are both dead so I guess we'll never know. But my question would be, if the Michael Jackson relationship was so healthy why didn't he come forward at the trial when all the gossip was swirling around Michael. He could certainly have used a celebrity witness like Mr Feldman to testify about his healthy relationship.
I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
“Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.”
And he replied:
“Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.” - quoted by King George VI
