I'm getting a *LOT* out of practicing this simple and short meditation.
I have to say I'm surprised, really. Just by doing it (I don't even have to believe it), is changing the inner dialogue I have with myself.
I had a disappointing experience with someone and was really sad about the outcome. I was amazed to find that I wasn't entirely blaming myself for the failure, that I was aware that he was partly responsible, and that I did the best that I could.
I accepted the experience for what it was, without blaming myself, and without beating myself up over it.
What a MAJOR accomplishment to be able to go through disappointment, without abusing myself.
