Definately new to this forum, and recovering from having been used. I've found professional help and am dreading starting on family of origin stuff in two weeks. In the mean time I'm a basket case. I keep acting out by fantasizing about being 10 again. Juat wanted to get that out, seems like a common theme in what I read. Most of the time, I just want to vomit.

Any way, I stumbled here looking for brick and mortor support groups in seattle. Nobody here knows about any. For all the pain and disfunction around here I keep thinking there everywhere but they just don't want me. my head tells me this is BS but I can't get it out of my gut.

Well, I gotta sleep now, I've not been taking very good care of myself lately.

hello JERUNAMUCK, I like very much your choice of a log on name. You begin your note with a sad,and blue icon, but you end with a yellow, smiling icon. I believe that says what you wanted to say. You have taken the first step seeking help with a very complex and difficult subject. I believe it is sometimes up and sometimes down for us to find out and try to learn what the hell is going on with us. all my good luck in your serarch. also, sorry for the spelling, it was never one of by better subjects in school. bosisher aka Michael

hey jerunamuk, hope you got some sleep and hope you're feeling better man. Good that you're here. Many people here are going trough the same stuff, myself included. I'm also pretty new here, but what I've seen here has been pretty good. There're just those times when I'm feeling all around like crap, and won't/can't dig myself out of the hole sometimes.

Anyway man, thought I'd let you know that both group and individual support are available at Shepherd's in Seattle. They're in a two stroy brick house across the street from Roanoke Park. They're phone number is (206) 323-7131. The men's group(s) there have been supportive and real for me.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you just want to vent. Stay well and good luck man...

Just wanted to add my welcome to you, i know the deal with not taking very good acre of yourself, thats part of my stuff lately too, i hope you got some sleep.

I keep remembering what a friend told me one time about getting better, all we really got to do is keep talking.

Hope to see you around, John

I asked him about this law he spoke of, he said,,, *watch* he then asked the others to share about their lives,,, the others talked of how things were for them, how things worked in their lives,,, and as they believed, it was so.

Wow, thanks everyone. \:D It's really great to get this support.

Yes I did get some sleep, plenty. Even had some fun today. I bought a new toy for myself, Suzuki vx800. I keep typing here and deleting babble. guess I don't know how to say what's going on in me. Thanks Jamboarder, I've been looking for a men's group for over two years and keep getting told there are none. Thanks for the complement bosishere. Actually, the name was gifted to me by a friend. I kind of got attached to it. Hi SoCalJohn, we may have the same friend. Of course, it does matter what I talk about.
