Hey dude,

This is awesome! So happy for you, and excited for you, too.

Hope you don't mind a friendly suggestion - when you start to feel that way, like panicking, think of us; we're with you. We're hidden in the crowd.

Think of all the guys you've had conversations with here at MaleSurvivor, and think of all the exchanged stories and support. Imagine the strength we all show each other.

May you feel the strength you already have.

D

You sound determined Gary, in spite of the anxiety. I love that! I know it isn't easy, I've got my own SA issues, but it really is inspiring to me to hear you say you're gonna do this regardless of the fear.

Thanks so much for sharing this,

Caz

Chickening in? Amazing Gary! What a terrific term. Umm...consider it a dry run for next week. How 'bout that?

Interesting way to turn the tables on that term, Gary. Well-put.

Keep going

Thanks for posting your progress Gary. Glad that things went well and that you were able to chose to challenge yourself and learn more about yourself, and in the process help others (like me) by posting your experience. I know it took a lot to make that choice, but I think it was for the best. I know what you mean about re-evaluating an experience after you've had it. That's a part of Social Anxiety. I know it all too well. Unfortunately, I'm big on catastrophizing too. Hopefully, with enough awareness and self-acceptance, progress can be made on these things. It sounds like you have made some by doing this.

thank you and thanks for the link,

Caz
