I think it would be nice to have a board forum for those dealing with incestuous abuse one for victims of males and one for victims females.

Hi F.A.

This topic will be discussed at the next WOC meeting (currently scheduled for 4/5).

And it is not because the mechanism is working wrongly, that I am ill.
I am ill because of wounds to the soul, to the deep emotional self...."

When deciding to create a new forum, there are many considerations taken into account. One of the considerations is if the topic can be clearly defined to allow for limited misunderstanding of where a post should be made. The more fora created the less clear the distinctions become and the more likely we are to focus on our differences rather than finding strength from the shared experience of what we have been through. Trying to define which instances are incestuous and which are not can get into a gray area since often the grooming process is used to mimic familial relationships where they do not actually exist. For these reasons, we do not feel an incest forum would be helpful. Posts dealing with incest can be discussed in existing fora.
