I have had good results with EMDR for treatment of PTSD symptoms. It helped to restore some calm when otherwise it would have been a major trigger. It also helped fill in some blanks that had horrible realities. While that result is not officially an outcome as far as I know, the outcomes were a lot easier to accept with the treatment then what they would surely have been without.

Anyone wanting to seek this treatment out should ensure that their practitioner/Therapist is fully qualified to provide it.
