I decided to last week tell my entire story at the AA meeting I chair. Quite a step for me because there are a lot of young ones there that look up to me for guidance and support.

Well, beside the fact that I was was as nervous as hell, I went about my share and told all there my True life story, no facts hidden.
Well I can tell you that it was probably the quietest share that I have ever had, no laughter no banter, just silence, people staring at me.

Well after the share there was a deathly silence, and I thought that there were going to be no comments on my share. Well after a few moments, people thanked me and and told me I was brave for sharing, and then out of the blue.

This young chap came out and told me that he to had been abused as a child. In other meets it would usually be after a share people would ask veiled questions, not this lad, he just came out with it.

What strength of character, what a strong young lad. This courage will only stand him in good stead in his future healing.

Well the good news is that he is joining us at Matrix Men, only hope that we can help him there too.

Heal well all

Wonderful! May your Higher Power stengthen & bless you both!

Good for you and good for him! Silence is the enemy. Not that screaming voice inside our heads.

I will never ALWAYS be right, I wasn't wrong, I am whats left.
