I am a recovery noob, I'm 28 and trying to balance university and recovery. I wanted to say hi to everyone and applaud you all for being here and creating this awesome support network which I plan to use plenty.

I went to my first workshop for male survivors by the infamous Mike Lew and it was life changing. I've had many ups and downs since then and right now I'm up so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I look forward to getting to know you all smile.

I didn't fuck it up, but I will unfuck it up. All MS members: Let's all unfuck it up!
It does get better because I will make it better, together we can make it better.

Hi, bp, and welcome to MS! I'm glad you've found this resource, he has helped so many and I'm sure it can help you as well. That's great that you went to the Mike Lew workshop, I would imagine that was a pretty powerful experience in itself. I've read his book, Victims No Longer, and it was excellent in helping my recovery. Again, glad you're here!

Dear BlindPet,

Thanks for your introduction and for encouraging us on our healing journeys. You'll find support and encouragement for your own recovery path here. I'm sure you have a very busy schedule, but if possible also work with a therapist versed in our issues. They really help cut through a lot of the unnecessary and keep you focused towards a speedier recovery. Best of luck with everything, welcome! and if there's ever anything I can help with, please, don't hesitate.

Hello Blindpet,

A big hi back and and an applause for you for coming here, be able to maintain your study and visiting the mike lew workshop. I only read his books, but I can imagine it must have been quite something to visit and participate in it.

Good luck in finding what you need here and best wishes with your recovery.

Welcome Blindpet,

You have come to the right place for help and understanding.

We care about each other and want you to thrive as well.

Get acquainted, look around, come and chat, and feel welcome.

Keep telling yourself you didn't fuck it up.

I know you have something inside so strong.

Keep at it.
