i also bought myself a friend - that is related to my self-image. Just before going to WoR, where they suggested you bring a stuffed animal to cuddle, i saw a walrus that looked like this - and is about 20 in long.
i adopted him - for several reasons. i have a big mustache that some describe as looking like a walrus. i was in high school when the Beatles' "I am the Walrus" came out - and i loved it. in high school art, i made a stuffed walrus for an assignment - which i've since lost. it just felt like a fortuitious meeting.
