This is a children's book written by Jill Starishevsky, a former DA in NY who often prosecuted CSA cases. It is geared for children 3 to 8 years old. When her own daughter turned three, she looked for resources to share with her to facilitate discussion about what is appropriate and what isn't. Finding nothing, she wrote her own. I love this book. It isn't frightening, it's empowering. The person who touches the main character isn't a stranger (my new pet peeve is the vast amount of resources thrown at stranger danger when the real danger is in our own stinkin' homes but I digress). Anyway, I would like for every library, every parenting group, every PTA to share this book and it's message.
