I think what's great about our Canadian friends up north is that they keep us from "going south" too often. (Or something like that.)

@Jay - By the way, what part of you are you breaking? Unless you meant, "You brake for booty calls." lol

Curling in 30 degree weather I think not. Check the weather across the country, not much rain in sight couldn't ask for a better day!

Howdy, my Canadian brothers,

Happy Canada day.

To all my Canadian brothers, have a great day in healing & celebration.

Thank you guys for this thread. I feel seen.

Anybody else want to share some of your day...?

Here's mine:

Just watched the fireworks. Heard yesterday that a man I once was a friend to committed suicide. Sadness.

Got a call from my sister. She hasn't been much in contact since I confronted my parents. Not sure where this will go.

Highlight of my week was playing in the wavepool with a bunch of other young gay guys. So much fun, felt like a kid again. Oh, and visiting a kids playground with my therapist and playing. My little boy likes playing.

Yes yes yes.

Being called to project lead at work. Difficult with my emotions so up and down.

Just breathing through it one day at time. Small steps to a better place. Choosing happiness, being aware of the negative, stopping the negative in its tracks. Breath, spine, alignment, friendship, little steps of trust.

Getting out of the mausoleum where I get stuck. Old coccoon that can't hold me. Can't hold me. Lies about me. Attachment breaking to mom and dad. It's a strange death, like loosing them while they are still alive. Don't need em.

I am Taking care of me. I am Loving me. Don't need to carry anybody else's weight.

Happy Canada Day!
