Hi, my fraternal brothers,

Well, we are coming up to the Memorial day holiday weekend.

At times I think that some Americans forget the meaning of the day. Oh, it's just another day off & shopping day, sad to say.

But, thankfully for the majority of us we do know all too well the true meaning of this very special American holiday.

In my youth this was called Decoration day...A day to decorate the veterans graves, our war dead, with flowers & a flag. And to say a prayer to them in thanks for keeping us free.

On this very special day, the flag is hoisted to the top of the staff & then solemnly down to half staff until 12 noon when it is once again raised to full staff, in honor of our war dead.

I am sure that many of us here have a family member, relative or a friend whom had given their life in battle in the service of their country. Our brothers in arms. A very special family.

As a Vietnam veteran & military retiree, I ask of my fraternal brothers here, to please take a moment on that solemn day, to say a prayer to your God, or higher power, in their honor.

Thanks, my fraternal brothers. I wish you all a pleasant & healing holiday weekend.

"I will take that lost boys hand, and I will lead him from the depths of darkness, into the sunshine, forever into eternity." As he is me.
