I am a survivor of childhood sex abuse and also a playwright (20 full-length plays produced). Last year I took on the topic of my childhood abuse in a play called Invisible Boy, which premiered at Broom Street Theater in Madison, Wisconsin. It got good press and got the word about abuse out to a lot of people. I had many survivors thank me for writing and producing the play. During the run, we videotaped the show and it is now posted online. It can be viewed here: http://www.vimeo.com/17470426 Trigger Warning: The play is not about the abuse, but about survival. However, there are some scenes that can be very difficult to watch. Many survivors saw the run and have seen the video so far and none have said they wish they wouldn't have, as it is ultimately a very affirming play. Please take care of yourself.
