No hands no fatherly arms
just innocence, toys and kid songs
several older boys and men i'd dream
come protect and attend to me
only to wake from dreams like this
my vivid dream fade into mist
an ache for "daddy" was hard to describe
hard to channel and hard to cry
til one day he called me in
to be his toy; take my innocence
i felt and saw things i'll never forget
being only four; still felt regret
felt the hands felt the mouth pull
make my heart feel dull
to think this how i'm 'spose to be loved
that this was the only way to be good enough
today i walk talk and breathe to be held
not betrayed, turned away, or wrongly felt
daddy's love, brother's love, wish i had
to feel safe 'around a stong, sturdy man
ocd, mdd, can explain my pain
my hero, for years, has been far away
night and day up or down it's on my mind
loving hands big and strong hug me from behind

wonderful poem Hisson with depth of expression.

Balanced (My goal)

There is symmetry
In self-reflection
Life exemplified
Grace personified

That was....
mildly triggering
and amazingly expressed.

I have never been one with the skill to imbue my words with such feeling. My poems are usually fun little leaflet notes that carry about the same emotional weight, but yours take me there to the very brink of that time and place.

I look forward to hearing more from you.

The end of time and space
The beginning of every end,
And the end of every place."
