an opportunity has presented itself to go public with my story

a local organization is running commercials and has asked for survivor stories. a fellow survivor close to me told his story... he was surprised at the positive response he got from people.

this got me thinking and really just toying with the idea of speaking more vocally and publicly about this.

i was sexually abused by my father and mother, both of whom are still alive.
i am wondering whether they can sue me for telling my story? my hopes are that it will help another.

i am examining my motives for this closely ... there is of course a deep anger and shame. i don't want to act out of vengefulness. i do want to protect my little boy and others who are vulnerable.
