My T is prominent in the field of male sexual abuse-he referred me to a body therapist who helped release some of the buried, trapped trauma memories that were deep inside.
It was very odd to experience, but freeing also. I have another appointment (first in several months) in early February.
I also did a form of Yoga called Svaroopa:
This has slowly helped me release some of those embedded memories and trauma from the abuse.
There is a book called "Waking the Tiger" by Peter Levine that discusses treating trauma.
