Been doing a lot of running around today.
Out in the public,
mingling with the normals.
Looking askance and trying not to be noticed
And wondering

About those other five
Out there walking around, working their jobs
Living their lives.

What does it feel like?
To be comfortable in your own skin?
Not have nightmares about someone in the dark?
Not even know what a flashback is?
To have grown up with ďbuddiesĒ
Pals, Best friends for life?

Your biggest worry is rent?
If that girl at the counter thinks your hot?
What am I going to do this weekend with my friends?
That porn is something you are aware of but not familiar with?
MB is something you might do
twice a month if your exceptionally bored?
What never having anyone touch you there
with out your permission feels like?
To never think about your ass unless it needs a toilet?
To know what the word modesty means to everyone else?

So yeah, I am looking around.
Being that one,
And curious as hell about the other five.
I catch myself staring, enviously
Waste of time I know but,
Canít help it. Itís..
Called innocence and it was gone before I knew I had it.
I would grieve it but I donít know how.

So if you find me staring at some young
Happy go lucky dude itís not what you think
Or maybe it is
Just hug me and tell me to keep walking
It will be ok.

I do wonder. Is there a normal? I am finding out now just how out of the norm I truly am. Funny how you think it is supposed to be this hot and bubbles are supposed to come from the bottom of the pan when you grow up in a pan of water on the stove.

God grant me
The Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the difference.

Hi R.

Sounds like a poem written for our conversation at breakfast the other morning. Sad poem wish I could denie it's plot.

Balanced (My goal)

There is symmetry
In self-reflection
Life exemplified
Grace personified

Hey Freedom,

These words cannot be truer. These lines reach beyond the woes of us survivors and into too many people we encounter these days.

I have never really wondered about the five...(that is an interesting perspective)...

I do however look for the one...(as we have something in common)...

perhaps I can lend an understanding ear ~or~ help in some other way...(if maybe just to brighten their day).

Hi, my fraternal brothers,

Great poem,

The other 5. Whenever i go to civilisation, (I live in the boonies), and i see dad's or granddads with their sons enjoying their time together. I get triggered, that little boy in me starts crying inside. A tear or two will streak down my cheek. Those lucky 5.

I wear my MaleSurvivor T shirt with pride, hoping to connect with that 1 in 6. Waiting to hear his cry.

"I will take that lost boys hand, and i will lead him from the depths of darkness, into the sunshine, forever into eternity."

Heal well my brothers, heal well.
