While I do appreciate the exposure, I find the article being in Forbes a bit unusual. But as I said, it is good to get our message out.

"Being with people that understand you...Priceless"

"and i don't want the world to see me, cause i don't think that they'd understand"

"You don't know what love just do as your told"

"My life has changed. What you take as a simple thing, is not so simple for me anymore"

I think its good because we need wealthy support. It was The support of a Rockeffeller and the crowd he hung with that gave AA its initial support and good publicity. Executives are people like us who have more money and ability to do good things. Its the sort of work I always imagined I'd do if I hit the lotto.

It was that public support and the favorable treatment in the press that it engendered and the goodwill it created that got AA rolling when the first groups realized it did work and wanted to share the program.

I'm not sure what it will take for people to generally recognize the damage abuse creates and the help needed to get past it but this couldn't hurt. Maybe some exec is one of us but wants to be anonymous.

As Mark Twain once quipped, history may not repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
