In alot of ways my father and fayetteville ( my home town)
Are one and the same
A warm safe memory
Of a time in my youth
Both worn down by time
So much has changed,
yet so much remains
Houses filled with memories and ghosts
I still see and hear them both
Their voices,laughter and cheer
A small boy yearns for the past
And all that was so dear

To own one's shadow is the highest moral act of a human.
-Robert Johnson-
