thanks sam phillips for stating things so plainly:

i left my conscience like a crying child
locked the doors behind me put the pain on file
broken like a window i see my blindness now

i need love
not some sentimental prison
i need god
not the political church
i need fire
to melt the frozen sea inside me
i need love

driving into town tired and depressed
like a flare a streetlight bursts an s.o.s.
peace comes to my rescue and i don't know what it means
i need love

That is deep. The part of needing God and love, not a political church. That was such a revelation that God was someone you could interact with. In my adult life since getting "saved", I have moved a lot and went to Catholic, Baptist, Union, Assembley of God, non-denominational, Church of Christ and currently a Quaker church. None of those matter as long as they let me worship Jesus. It is that love connection I have found and everything good in my life has flowed from that.

yea catfish, since i removed christ from the cross of religious doctrine, my spiritual life has soared to greater heights and my connection to the power has become unbreakable. encountering the grace of that perfect love has been the single sustaining force of my life.

warm regards,

ron
